Parents: I need some help please. We have two great causes to fundraise for this football season. The best thing about fundraising on either of these events is the fact that the girls/guys wear these shirts a lot so there is a lot of exposure for great causes year round.
" One is the Teen Cancer Challenge. The game will be Friday, Oct. 28th vs. Springdale at Tiger Stadium. Cheerleaders/Dancers will be selling t-shirts for this cause. T-shirts will be on sale the week of Oct. 10-14th. We will also collect money in the stands at this game and we will take dollar donations for the balloon lift off when we sell tshirts. The focus of the fundraising this year is to support a hematology/oncology clinic at the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Lowell. This would allow children in NWA to receive chemotherapy treatments, blood work and follow-up care at the Lowell clinic instead of traveling to Little Rock for these services. There is also an anonymous match of $25,000. We have raised a large sum of money in the past for this cause and would love to do so again this year. The cheerleaders/dancers receive a free t-shirt for every 10 shirts they sell. This year….if they sell less than 10, their cost for a shirt is only $5.00. I would love to have some sponsorship for some tees for this as well if possible.
" Below is the second cause. I would love to do this with Fayetteville. We play at Fayetteville on Sept. 23…..I think this is another great cause that focuses on children. Does anyone know of any company who might like to sponsor the Varsity Cheer/Dance t-shirts for this one? We have 26 cheer and 12 dancers and 2 managers.
